Comic: The Portal - Part 1 of 7

This comic is based on Through the Gate by Morpheus. It is the second comic I've created using Daz and the first using Comic Life for the word balloons. I created two versions of the comic. This is the "official" version. I'll probably post PDFs of both versions to this blog, eventually.

Please note: There is a character under 18 in this comic, but there isn't any sex in the comic. While there is some female frontal nudity, the under 18 character is not in any of those scenes.

Story: The One You're With - part 7

The One You're With
by Varian Milagro

Part 7

There was another bright flash and when it faded Rachel found herself sitting in the front passenger seat of a car in the parking lot of the Rusty Nail tavern.

“Woah, déjà vu,” Rachel said.

"Here, these are for you." Paige held out a pack of cigarettes. She wore a tight leather skirt and a silky black blouse that showed more than it hid.

“Thanks,” Rachel said, distractedly. Her attention was on the group of men and women standing near a line of Harley Davidson motorcycles. It was the members of the local motorcycle gang, The Lords of Chaos.

“Are you ready to do this?” Paige said and then lit a cigarette.

“I want to say hi to Mom first.” Rachel opened the passenger door. She wore a backless pink clubbing dress and a pair of black stilettos.

Part 6

Rachel decided that it was okay to talk about what was really going on now that Terrance had allowed Cody to witness the magic take place and remember it.

“Yeah, about that. You may not believe this, but magic is real and this guy has been changing me and my sister and daughter. I didn’t look like this at the start of the evening, trust me. Especially these.” She motioned toward her large tits. “I was also a lot older and he promised that I could change back if we beat those other two.”

Cody’s expression darkened. “I have a bit of a confession to make too. I saw a creepy guy talking to you and thought you might need rescuing so I manipulated Lance and Jackson into picking you as my partner. Turned out great. You’re an amazing pool player. What are the chances?”

“You can see Terrance too? He said he picked me because I had the sight. He’s the one who changed me so that I look like this now. He’s the one who did all of this.” She swept an arm around indicating that she was talking about the luxury suite.

“How did you change?” Cody was frowning.

Rachel’s shoulders slumped. “I guess you don’t have the sight after all. It was too much to hope for.”

Part 5

It was Lance's turn to break, which meant that she needed him to end his turn as quickly as possible. If he sank too many balls then it would make it way too easy for his partner to win the game. While Rachel was fairly confident that she could sink one or two balls, making all of them without missing was asking a lot. If Lance was able to sink even three balls that would leave five for Jackson. Even if he wasn’t able to win at that point, Cody would have to leave the eight on the table which would mean that Lance would get a second turn. That meant that she had to figure out a way to stop her opponents from sinking eight balls over three turns. That wasn’t going to be easy.

She had an ace up her sleeve when it came to Lance, but she was hoping to save it for an emergency. While she'd been able to distract him by smoking in the last game she wasn't entirely sure it would work again and it would be even less likely to work twice in the same game. She was hoping that all the skills she'd acquired thanks to Cody turning her into a professional smoker would be enough to make him miss one more time.

Lance didn't cooperate and she was about to pull out her only weapon when he finally missed when trying to bank the 14 ball into the side pocket. He'd done a lot of damage though. Only three striped balls remained on the table which meant that if her opponents both sank two balls on their following turns she’d lose the game, the match and any hope for her daughter.

Story: The One You're With - part 4

The One You're With
by Varian Milagro

Part 4

Rachel took that opportunity to excuse herself. She sent a text to Gabi as she walked toward the exit. Even though her sister probably had no memory of any of this she needed to talk to someone. She needed to sort all of this out in her mind. There were things that were not making sense. Like Cody complimenting her outfit, like he was seeing it for the first time. Did he have a form of the sight too?

Gabi wasn’t outside yet, but one of the Tavern’s employees was. The white apron was a give away. The young woman was quite busty and was wearing a pair of cutoffs so short that the half of the pockets dangled from beneath the faded blue denim. Her low-cut top showed off a lot of flesh. Rachel almost screamed when she realized that it was her daughter.

“Jeez, mom. You about gave me a heart attack.”

Now that she was closer she looked Paige up and down. In addition to larger breasts she also had small hoops in her nose and right eyebrow. There was also a tattoo of a feral looking mermaid holding a trident on her right shoulder.

Rachel was furious. Terrance had said that he wouldn’t change Paige. Why had he gone back on his promise? She suddenly remembered her conversation with the godlike being. It played before her eyes like a movie. She saw him saying that he wouldn’t change her daughter directly, but he also said that apples didn’t fall far from the tree.

Part 2

Rachel looked around, but didn’t see Terrance anywhere in the tavern. She grabbed her drink and took a long swallow. Once she finished it she would grab Gabi and leave as quickly as she could. As she began to repack her purse she once again noticed the red light on her phone. When she unlocked it, she saw that she had a message from Paige. It said “Gma says I can borrow car after lesson. Be there at 10?”. As she scrolled up, there was a whole conversation that hadn’t been there before she’d met Terrance. The conversation consisted of Rachel trying to convince Paige to drive out to the Tavern and give her a ride.

Rachel tried to make a call, but as soon as she hit the call button, her phone shut off. She powered it back on and the same thing happened. Any attempt to contact Paige resulted in her phone going dead. Luckily, Paige didn’t have ready access to a car and it sounded like Rita wasn’t going to let Paige borrow hers until later in the evening. That gave her over an hour to get to a working phone and let her daughter know to stay away from the tavern.

Before she could finish packing her purse, a young man approached the table. He was tall, perhaps six-one, in great physical shape and startlingly handsome. There was a calculating intelligence behind his mesmerizing blue eyes. He was also quite young. He couldn’t be more than three or four years older than her daughter.

“Hi, I’m Cody and I’m hoping you can do me a huge favor. I got myself into a bit of a wager at that pool table over there.” Without looking away, he pointed toward the pool tables in the adjoining room. “I bet a couple guys that I could beat them in a game of doubles and they got to pick my partner. They decided upon you. Which, to be honest, made me quite happy.”

Story: The One You're With - part 1

The One You're With
by Varian Milagro

Author's note: The ending to this story eluded me for a long time, but I am happy with the what I eventually came up with. I'm not so happy with the title and reserve the right to change it at a later date. If you have an idea for a different one, feel free to post it in the comments or shoot me an email at varian.milagro@gmail.com. FYI, the story is completely written and as edited as it is ever going to get. I'll post the next parts (there's seven of them) in the coming days.

Part 1

"Here, these are for you." Gabi held out a pack of cigarettes. She wore a tight leather skirt and a silky black blouse that showed more than it hid. Her makeup was dark and heavy, giving her a rebellious appearance. Her blonde, shoulder length hair was streaked with temporary red highlights. Everything about tonight’s look was temporary. By day she sold tickets to various Vegas shows at the MGM casino and by night she was typically in bed by ten. Tonight, though, she wanted to party and maybe even get laid.

"I'm not holding those for you,” Rachel said. “I told you not to buy them in the first place.”

"I have my own.” Gabi held up a second pack. It was different from the one she was offering her sister. Those had Marlboro Lights written on the side, The pack she was opening were shorter and had a picture of a camel on them.

Rachel snatched the pack of Marlboros out of her sister's hand. “You’re taking this bad girl thing way too far. Smoking kills, you know.” She was dressed much more conservatively than her sister. She’d refused a "bad girl" makeover and had opted for a pair of comfortable black jeans and a paisley blouse. She had spent a decent amount of time on her shoulder-length auburn hair, giving it some decent curls. Normally, she put it in a ponytail and forgot about it.

“Oh my god, for like the millionth time I am not going to start smoking.” She stuck a cigarette in her mouth.

Story: A Perfect Match, Every Time - part 12

A Perfect Match, Every Time
by Varian Milagro

Chapter 12

After dropping Helen off at school, Cassidy drove to her very own Pilates studio. There was a class going and it was completely full, which made her quite happy. It wasn’t going to make her rich like Ryan, but if the studio kept up business like this, she and Helen should live quite comfortably.

At first she was worried that she’d make a mess of things. She’d never had a real job before and now she needed to run an entire business. But as the day went along she found that whatever situation arose, be it running a class, dealing with an upset customer, ordering supplies or handling employee questions, the knowledge popped into her head and she was able to deal with it.

During a break between classes Cassidy booted up her old phone to find that it was once again full of unread texts and phone messages. Most of them were from Penny, expressing her displeasure at being set up with a guy who wanted an occultist for a girlfriend. There were several from Desiree as well.

Before she could talk herself out of it she made a call to Desiree. It went straight to voicemail, making Cassidy suspected that the call had been rejected. She hoped that it was because Desiree didn’t recognize her mom’s phone number and not because she didn’t want to talk to her. She followed up with a text stating who she was and that she had a new phone. The phone started ringing less than a minute later.

Story: A Perfect Match, Every Time - part 11

A Perfect Match, Every Time
by Varian Milagro

Chapter 11

Cassidy was sitting on the king bed when Helen entered the master bedroom, holding her cigarette up by her face, poised like she was a starlet from the 1940s, ready for her closeup, looking so mature and grown up.

“Come, sit by me.” Cassidy patted the bed as she exhaled a large cloud of smoke to the side.

“What the fuck did you do?” Helen crossed her arms and remained standing. “And what’s the deal with Penny wanting to be sisters?”

“I think that it’s obvious what I did. I had Olga match you with Tommy as payback for what you did with Quinn.”

“I kind of get why I look like you, Tommy had a crush on you, but why do you look like me?”

“This wasn’t part of my plan, but I think that since you were still matched with Ryan when Olga matched you to Tommy, the magic forced me into a match with Ryan.”

“We need to go to Olga and get this fixed.” Helen’s buzz was starting to fade which was really annoying her.

Chapter 10

When Helen awoke she had no idea where she was or even what day it was. Her head felt like it was stuffed with cotton balls, as did her mouth. She spied a glass of orange juice, but that made her think of vodka which made her want to hurl. She ran to the kitchen sink and drank until her belly felt like it was going to burst. Looking at the kitchen clock she saw that it was a little after one. Since it was light out she guessed that it was PM and not AM.

She headed to her bedroom, to change her clothes. A shower was probably a good idea, but it sounded like too much effort. What wasn’t too much effort was tossing the all the fugly dresses in her closet. She couldn’t even remember why, or even when, she’d bought them, but she didn’t really care. They were hideous and she was never going to wear them so they had to go. She tossed them all into the hall and then rooted through her dresser for fresh underwear, t-shirt, jeans and hoodie. All of them fit much better today for some reason, not that she really cared. She wanted to get out of the house as soon as she could.

When she entered the garage she was shocked to see that the car was gone. Had Cassidy taken the car? She must have, but for some reason that idea bothered her. It wasn’t like she was going to drive it herself, not if she didn’t have to. All it did was pollute the air and clog the streets anyway. Better to get where you were going with your own power and not rely on the remains of dead dinosaurs. After pumping her bicycle tires full of air she took off towards the other side of town.

Heather's story part 14

Heather's Story
by Varian Milagro

Chapter 14

Heather felt a sense of déjà vu when she and Abigail pulled into the Newground’s parking lot. It had been one week, almost to the hour since she’d first visited the strip club with her sister, Bethany. So much had changed since then. She was now, by any reasonable measure, a witch and she’d used her powers to make tremendous changes to a lot of different people. Some of the changes she’d done out of ignorance, a few at the request of her best friend, and many for purely selfish reasons, transforming not only their physical forms, but their minds as well.

The magic had been transforming her as well, changing her body, her fashion sense, her sexual preference, her morals. Gone was the pious girl who hid her entirely average body away beneath layers of clothes and in her place was a buxom Goth. It was fitting, really. The dark makeup and black clothing represented the growing darkness within. The plunging neckline that showed off her tits let the world know of her wickedness.

Heather had reservations about returning to the strip club, the primary being Rebecca. The ceremony that had given her magical powers had also made her lust over the stripper. Bethany had fucked with her memory, so she wasn’t totally sure, but she had a feeling that she’d had oral sex with Rebecca last Sunday. She had no willpower around the woman; it was all primal, lust filled thinking. She’d probably strip naked and go down on her in the middle of the street if it was what Rebecca desired.

Heather's Story part 12

Heather's Story
By Varian Milagro

Chapter 12

Heather awoke on Saturday wishing that she were dead. Her mouth felt like someone had stuffed it with old cotton balls that had been soaked in cigarette ash and stale alcohol. She imagined that her breathe was so bad it could kill a small animal. All the moisture was gone from her mouth; she ached for a glass of water. Her head throbbed with a needle like pain centered in each temple. Her stomach felt like it was trying to claw its up and out through her throat.

To make matters worse Kirk had the worst mattress she’d ever slept on. The thing sagged like a semi deflated air mattress. It forced the girl’s bodies against each other and not in a pleasant “let’s cuddle” way, but more of an involuntarily wedged together way that grinded hip bones against each other and shoved elbows into ribs.

The absolute worst of it was the agonizing pain in her left breast. Opening her eyes she discovered the source of her discomfort. Mr Whiskers was standing on her breast, staring into her eyes.

“Meow!” he demanded.

It suddenly occurred to Heather that he hadn’t eaten or been near a litter box for at least 16 hours. “I can get you some food pretty soon,” Heather croaked. “I don’t have a litter box with me. Can you use the toilet? I heard that some cats do that.”

Story: If You Were a Girl: SMS Edition

This story was inspired by “If You Were A Girl… (A TG Questionnaire)” by 1sm3ghzn. You can find it over at The Changing Mirror, http://thechangingmirror.com/phpbb/index.php There are several other stories on that site based on the questions in the original story. Here is my take on it.

If You Were a Girl: SMS Edition
By Varian Milagro

It was raining again and I hate the rain. That’s not entirely accurate, I didn’t hate the rain itself; I didn’t mind getting wet. It was everyone else’s reaction to the rain that pissed me off. When I was little my mother wouldn’t let me outside to play when it rained. As I got older and got into baseball, it was cancelled anytime it rained. Now, today, I was going to go hiking with my girlfriend, Jessica, but she doesn’t like hiking in the rain.

I was an outdoor person through and through; indoor activities held little interest for me, save one. Once Jessica arrived I’d do my best to talk her into it. If that didn’t work I’d tell her that I’d watch a Rom-Com with her and then once she was comfortable I’d give her a massage followed by nibbling her earlobe. That rarely failed. Unfortunately having Jessica over also meant cleaning, something I hated almost as much as the rain.
