Heather's story part 11

Heather's story
By Varian Milagro

Chapter 11

Heather stood next to Bethany just inside the entrance of Boxcar, a diner just off I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne. A large brown sign instructing them to wait to be seated stood next to a white board wishing them a happy April Fool’s day and announcing that the special of the day was a Reuben sandwich.

Bethany wore a short, leather skirt and semi transparent blouse that showed off her lacy black bra. On her feet were a pair of stilettos so tall that she nearly walked on her tiptoes. Her hair was pulled tight against her head, but then exploded into a teased out pony tail. Heather wore a plain brown dress that covered her from neck to ankle. Her straight auburn hair hung to the middle of her back. Unlike her sister, the only makeup Heather wore was a modest amount of involuntary eyeliner. Bethany looked like a walking Covergirl advertisement.

Heather tried to keep her mind off recent events while they waited to be seated, focusing instead on the scene around her, the waitresses carrying orders to the kitchen or food to hungry customers, the smell of grilled sandwiches and freshly baked pies, constant rumble of several dozen conversations being held simultaneously. It kept her from thinking about the events at the strip club, the strange ceremony where she’d been infused with magic, her sister forcing her to use that magic on the bouncer, stripping him of his manhood in order to avoid being raped. Most of all it stopped her from brooding over the time she’d spent with Rebecca.

Part 11 is coming

I am finishing up part 11. It is a short chapter and more of an interlude. It clocks in at about 4,000 words and is another dream/flashback. Bethany has a lot of screen time in this chapter and gets to flex her powers on some innocent bystanders, which is nice.

There is a very good chance that I will be able to post it tomorrow. If not, I see no reason why it wouldn't be posted on Monday.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Heather's story part 10

Heather's story
By Varian Milagro

Chapter 10

That night, when the girls arrived at Todd’s and Kirk’s house, the door was answered by an unshaven man dressed in sweats and a Lakers jersey.

“Hi, you must be Heather and Abigail. I’m Byron. I rent this place with Todd and Kirk.” He took a step backwards. “Come in and I’ll let them know that you’re here.”

They stood in the living room while Bryon disappeared down the hall. He returned a minute later and said, “They’re still primping.” He leered at both of the girl’s chests for a moment. “Can I get you ladies something to drink?”

Heather folded her arms over her breasts. The jacket she’d borrowed from Abigail covered her arms and upper chest, but Byron’s lustful gaze made her feel exposed and dirty.

“We’re fine.” Abigail thrust her chest out slightly.

“Yes, you are. I’m not sure what you see in Twinkle-dee and Twinkle-dumb, but I might have to figure it out. You’re both amazingly beautiful.” Byron looked away and said, “I’m going to go back downstairs and finish watching the game. You’re welcome to join me or wait here.”

Maybe this weekend???

I wasn't able to get part ten of Heather's story finished by the end of April. You probably figured that out by now. I'll have more time this weekend to write, so I'm once again hoping that it will be done sometime on Sunday. It is more likely this time around.

I'm well into the revision process on this chapter and I can see the end of the tunnel. If you read my post about my process on revising Heather's story, I'd say that I'm about halfway through stage 2.

Thanks for sticking with me.
