Story: Urcaguary’s Amulet

This is a the story I wrote as part of a Christmas story exchange. The requester wanted a pair of anthro foxes turned into 150 foot foxtuars via a curse while exploring ruins. Below is what I came up with.

Urcaguary’s Amulet
by Varian Milagro

“We should turn back,” Brian said. “We never should have come here.”

“I’m not leaving empty handed,” Vivien said. She was using her headlamp to illuminate a scrap of leather with crude markings on it. “We paid a lot of money for this map and I intend to make it worth my while.”

“What do you think, Ty?” Emily asked her brother. Both she and Tiberius were anthro foxes, covered from head to foot in soft fur. Like their human companions they were bipedal, except she and her brother walked digitigrade, on their toes, like regular foxes.

“I’m game if you are. I love a good adventure, you know that.” Ty slid closer to Vivien to get a better look at the map.

Ty’s fur was gray over most of his body, except for the front of his torso, which was pure white. Emily’s coloration was an orangish red over most of her body, but most of her torso, arms and legs were white. While neither of the anthro foxes needed to wear clothing for warmth or to cover their modesty, he wore a red t-shirt and she wore a vest with a myriad of pockets and a pair of hiking shorts.

They were currently standing in a dimly lit subterranean corridor, their headlamps creating ominous shadows down the long passageway. The ever present cobwebs and dark, viscous liquid oozing between the large stones that made up the walls added an unneeded layer of creepiness to their endeavor. The air was thick with the smell of decay. Snakes as thick as fire hoses slithered about along the floor while spiders the size of softballs crawled above their heads. Vivien, an amatuer zoologist, had assured them earier that none of the species that they’d encountered so far were particularly poisonous, but it was still best to steer clear of the local fauna as much as possible.

Interactive story - part 5

Here are the results from last week’s poll:

0% - Outlaw wedding
5% - The wedding crew
7% - Hello Kitty wedding
17% - White trash wedding
24% - Hip Hop wedding
48% - Stripper wedding

I didn’t make it to the wedding yet. That will come in the next part, hopefully. I’m not sure if I’ll have a part ready by next week. I’ll either need to write shorter parts or post them at longer intervals.

The Road Trip - part 005

Tracey knelt on the grass trying to decipher the scents emanating off the stump before her. The smell of rotting wood was the most obvious, she could have picked that up with her old nose. The various dog scents were fairly easy to distinguish, too. It was the other animal scents that were throwing her. Her mother stood about fifteen feet behind her. She’d let go of the leash and talking to Maria. Seeing his new purple dress, Tracey guessed that Barry had used more magic on him.

Interactive story - part 4

I was pleased to see that more people voted this last week. Thank you to those of you who did. I find it encouraging when you take an active part.

Here are the results from last week:

2% - Something else
8% - A petting zoo
13% - A political rally
24% - The circus
50% - A friend's wedding

Barry and crew are headed to a wedding! I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of mischief Barry can get into there. If you voted for the circus or the political rally don't worry. There is a strong chance that Barry will make a stop at these locations eventually.

The Road Trip - part 004

“I’d like to go to Chloe’s wedding,” Andrea said. “She’s getting married on Saturday.”

“I love weddings! They’re so full of potential. ” Barry said. “Where is it?”

“It’s on Whidbey Island in Washington State. I was supposed to be a bridesmaid, but my mom wanted to take the long way to Yale.”

Comic Recommendation: Motel 6 by Solone

Today I want to recommend the art by Solone. He does amazing 3D TF art that is so beautiful it blows my mind. I picked Motel 6 to recommend because it is finished (I think) and it's gorgeous. It is a 26 panel comic of a woman becoming a feral, anthro cat creature. Here is an early image from the comic.

Story Recommendation: Legal Issues

Today's recommendation is Legal Issues by Lycandope. It is a sweet, romantic, 7-part story about a woman who slowly becomes an AnthroCow. The story is well written and the main character's reactions are believable.

I haven't read all of Lycandope's stories yet, but I have liked all the stories I have read.

Other stories of his I can recommend are; The Labyrinth, a 2-part TG retelling of Theseus and the Minotaur; Supernatural Short Bus, lots of dark changes; and The Lady Wore Red, a 4-part story about a shy woman who becomes a succubus.

Comic: Transporter Mishap - Part 1 of 5

The following is a comic I commissioned from Rodolfo Andrade in April 2009. It is based on another comic commissioned by Thrandrall (I highly recommend his website, Transformation Repository, if you like transformation comics). You can see his original commission on the Process Production Forum. It is called Transporter Malfunction. You probably need to have an account in order to see the comic (accounts are free and there is tons of transformation information and art on the site, going back years).

Thrandrall posted a link to the website that did commissions on the cheap (defunct now, I fear). I decided to do a sequel to his comic. I spent a few days coming up with the followup idea and reference photos. In retrospect, I probably should have asked Thrandrall if he minded if I shoehorn in on his idea. Oh, well.

Story recommendation: A Regretful Wish

Hello and welcome to my first story recommendation.

Today I am recommending A Regretful Wish by RL_Dogwood. This is a girl to puppy transformation story and it has a great, slow mental transformation. The author has not written many other stories, that I know of that is. I hope that RL_Dogwood continues to write. I have a feeling that the author has a lot of talent and I look forward to future writings. If you read the story, please leave the author a comment. It will help encourage future efforts.

Thanks,

Varian Milagro
